Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

About the role

BASF Agricultural Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler for its Agricultural Solutions team in Regina, Saskatchewan. The role creates chemistry by planning, coordinating and scheduling maintenance so that plant operations stay safe, reliable and cost-effective.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and optimize maintenance activities to support safe, reliable and cost-effective plant operations.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance work to maximize asset reliability, equipment availability and operational performance.
• Ensure maintenance activities are properly scoped, resourced and prepared for efficient execution.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Procurement and contractors to align priorities and execution plans.
• Manage maintenance workflows and planning processes within SAP to support work management and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve maintenance efficiency, equipment uptime and plant performance.
• Act as the main liaison between maintenance teams and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful completion of work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or a technology diploma/trade certification with eight or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment with a strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Experience developing and managing maintenance plans and schedules, including medium-term horizons.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and EHS requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, preferably SAP PM.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, including tracking, analyzing and reporting maintenance performance metrics.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
