Client Services Manager – Health IT Services

About the role

The Engagement Services unit within UBC's Office of the CIO is seeking a Client Services Manager to lead the delivery, implementation, and operation of campus‑wide technology services for UBC Health and the Faculty of Medicine. This senior position acts as the primary liaison between UBC IT and health‑related academic, clinical, and research units, ensuring high‑quality, integrated digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of IT services across UBC Health, aligning with enterprise governance, cybersecurity, and privacy standards.
• Develop and manage business and project plans, budgets, and requirements for integrated, cost‑effective technology solutions.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all IT service requests, escalations, and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with faculty, clinical, and research stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive strategic service improvements.
• Maintain brand integrity and best practices in service design and delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex IT service portfolios in academic or health‑care environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise governance, cybersecurity, and privacy frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to develop budgets, project plans, and performance metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
