Civil Quality Inspector

About the role

The Civil Quality Inspector will join Aecon’s Industrial division to support the Red‑Sein Rat Cooperative WasteWater project in Niverville, MB. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for on‑site inspection and testing of civil infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, CSA standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site civil, concrete and piling inspections in accordance with project design and CSA standards.
• Review daily piling reports and verify accuracy.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑pour concrete inspections, including temperature monitoring.
• Verify soil and compaction testing results.
• Inspect backfill operations and issue releases as required.
• Inspect in‑progress and completed work to confirm compliance with specifications.

Required profile

• Ability to carry out on‑site quality inspections for civil infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with CSA standards and construction documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret design specifications.
