Civil Design Intern

About the role

Join the Technical Team at FCC Canada as a Civil Design Intern, supporting the Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations segment of the Ontario Line in Toronto. The internship provides practical exposure to civil infrastructure design within a large, multidisciplinary environment, where your work directly contributes to a major transit project from design development through construction support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, review, and organization of civil design drawings, technical documents, and design deliverables.
• Support senior engineers with AutoCAD drafting tasks, including plan/profile drawings, sections, and detail production.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, design managers, and construction teams to coordinate design information.
• Contribute to daily design and coordination activities for the Pape Tunnel and underground stations.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about civil infrastructure and transit projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• AutoCAD.
