Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

About the role

E-Comm 911 is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization through a period of rapid growth, technology modernization, and governance transformation. Based in the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland area, the CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors and be the public face of the province’s primary 9‑1‑1 communications service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight during the implementation of Next Generation 9‑1‑1 and other technology upgrades.
• Drive financial stewardship, ensuring transparency, cost‑recovery efficiency, and alignment with provincial mandates.
• Strengthen relationships with municipalities, public‑safety partners, and provincial stakeholders.
• Oversee service excellence across a 24/7 mission‑critical environment handling over two million calls annually.
• Guide governance reforms and operational discipline as directed by an independent provincial review.

Required profile

• Proven senior executive experience leading complex, multi‑stakeholder organizations through transformation.
• Strong strategic, financial, and operational leadership capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build alignment, navigate complexity, and deliver measurable results.
• Willingness to be based in Greater Vancouver or relocate to the region.

Required skills

What we offer

• Target total compensation of $340,000 – $370,000 CAD per year.
