About the role

Henry C.D Carpenter Inc. is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our permanent, full‑time team in Calgary. You will work on a variety of construction projects, ensuring high‑quality workmanship while adhering to building codes and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Perform shift or on‑call work and overtime as needed.

Required profile

• 2 to less than 3 years of carpentry experience.
• Available for shift, on‑call and flexible‑hour schedules.
• Willingness to work overtime.
