Carpenter – Construction Projects

About the role

Braybrook Projects Ltd. is seeking an experienced carpenter to join its construction teams across various sites in North Vancouver. The role involves working on new builds, renovations, historical restorations, and residential projects, often at heights and in challenging environments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare layouts that comply with building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Schedule and coordinate work on site, survey building locations and levels.
• Instruct apprentices and ensure safety standards are met.

Required profile

• Carpenter Trade Certification and Red Seal Certificate.
• 5 + years of experience in construction carpentry.
• Own transportation, valid driver’s licence and personal tools.
• Ability to work physically demanding tasks, handle heavy loads and meet tight deadlines.

• Using hand tools safely and efficiently.
