Bilingual Client & Account Analyst

About the role

The GRIP (Group Retirement Income Plan) team at Manulife is looking for a bilingual Client & Account Analyst to join its processing team. The role is largely administrative and supports Group Retirement Services clients by handling member-level transactions for GRIP products, with a focus on service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial and non-financial transactions for market-related retirement savings plans in line with legislation, plan rules and instructions.
• Gatekeep shared email inboxes accurately and efficiently.
• Support team members by requesting specialized reports and handle members' requests and policy questions within prescribed deadlines.
• Interpret data, learn and carry out team tasks during high-volume periods, and identify process improvements.
• Deliver accurate, timely service to internal and external clients while respecting privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
• Maintain strong knowledge of pension legislation, administrative matters and technologies, and support equity, diversity and inclusion efforts.

Required profile

• University degree or college diploma in a related field.
• Bilingualism in English and French is required to serve clients from jurisdictions outside Quebec.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages, and confidence with internal and external customers.
• Ability to manage sensitive information, multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Remote virtual work with colleagues around the globe is comfortable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Understanding of Group Retirement Services, pension legislation and Manulife systems (AWD, MPS) is an asset.
• An accounting and financial foundation is an asset.

• Salary range of $45,900 to $76,500 CAD in Montreal, with possible incentive compensation.
