About the role
We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead daily operations at our bustling gastro pub in Burlington. The role involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, and ensuring exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze budgets and adjust menu pricing to maintain profitability.
- Monitor revenues, labour costs and prepare cash reports and balance sheets.
- Plan and organise daily operations, including staff scheduling and training.
- Enforce provincial liquor legislation and health‑safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory levels and control product costs.
- Handle customer complaints and provide high‑quality service.
- Supervise a team of 1‑2 staff members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Required profile
- Strong client focus and dependability.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Organised, reliable and flexible team player.
- Attention to detail and ability to stand for extended periods.
