About the role
The bakery team at Soul Stone Sushi Grill and Bar is looking for an experienced baker to produce a variety of breads, pastries, and specialty cakes for our restaurant. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen, ensuring high quality and consistency for both daily service and special customer orders.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare doughs, batters, icings and frostings according to recipes or custom orders.
- Bake breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, cakes and other sweet goods.
- Frost and decorate cakes and pastries to meet visual standards.
- Draw up production schedules and manage inventory of baking supplies.
- Inspect kitchen areas, operate bakery machinery and maintain a clean work environment.
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of professional baking experience in a restaurant setting.
- Dependable, reliable team player able to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
Required skills
- Baking and pastry preparation.
- Cake decorating and frosting techniques.
- Operating bakery machinery and managing inventory.
