AU-03 Auditor positions in High Complexity Audit Tax Services

About the role

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is hiring qualified candidates for multiple AU-03 auditor positions within the High Complexity Audit Tax Services Office (HCATSO) in the Western Region. These roles focus on complex tax compliance, tax avoidance investigations, and international tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct income‑tax audits of complex domestic corporate tax returns for corporations, partnerships and trusts.
• Audit domestic and international tax avoidance schemes, either independently or as part of a team.
• Perform audits and compliance reviews of large businesses and multinational corporations involving international tax issues.

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in Canada and meet CRA security and background requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax legislation and regulations.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
