Associate, Human Resources

About the role

Brookfield is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Associate, Human Resources to support HR operations across its corporate platforms. Working closely with Senior HR Business Partners, you will help deliver high‑touch, best‑in‑class HR services throughout the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual performance review process, ensuring consistency with business objectives.
• Assist in identifying development needs and partner on talent calibration and succession planning.
• Coordinate and analyze compensation reviews, benchmarking, and internal equity assessments.
• Manage employee benefits administration, maternity leave programs, and disability claims.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
• Partner with recruiting teams to align hiring strategies, manage interview logistics, and enhance candidate experience.
• Oversee onboarding for new hires and off‑boarding processes, including exit interviews and system access changes.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on visa applications, renewals, and immigration compliance.
• Participate in HR operations projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the organization.
• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.
