Assistant Team Leader – Retail Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Team Leader to support the management team in daily retail store operations. The role ensures excellent customer service, maintains a well‑organized store environment, and assists with staff coordination. This position is ideal for someone with a year of retail experience who is ready to develop leadership skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the management team in overseeing store operations and staff.
• Handle daily shipments, including boxing and unboxing.
• Stock products on shelves and ensure proper placement.
• Climb ladders safely to reach all store areas.
• Provide customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
• Perform cash management, opening and closing duties as needed.
• Track breaks, time and attendance, and support hiring and performance management.

Required profile

• Approximately one (1) year of relevant retail experience.
• At least one (1) year in a supervisory role.
• Flexible availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, organization, and teamwork.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Customer‑service oriented mindset.
