About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations at Windermere General Store in Windermere, BC. The role involves overseeing staff, handling customer issues, and ensuring smooth store performance.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring all activities run smoothly and meet performance standards.
- Evaluate daily operations, analyzing results and identifying areas for improvement.
- Plan and organize daily tasks, scheduling staff and coordinating inventory management.
- Manage staff by assigning duties, supervising performance, and providing guidance.
- Resolve issues that arise, including handling customer requests, addressing complaints, and managing supply shortages.
- Conduct performance reviews for team members, offering feedback and development plans.
Required profile
- Minimum education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience in retail or store management.
