Assistant Fitness Manager

About the role

The Assistant Fitness Manager supports the General Manager and Fitness Manager in delivering a best‑in‑class fitness experience at our North Vancouver club. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will oversee personal training services, drive member satisfaction, and help achieve financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Personal Trainers, conducting regular check‑ins, training and performance reviews.
• Achieve personal training and supplement sales goals through program implementation and promotions.
• Ensure accurate administration of training sessions, dotFIT usage, and redemption procedures.
• Maintain health, safety and cleanliness standards, reporting incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments such as HR, Finance, IT, Marketing and Maintenance.

Required profile

• Active Personal Trainer Certification and First Aid Certification.
• Leadership or management experience in sales, retail or hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and public speaking abilities.
• Motivated self‑starter with a professional, punctual and organized work ethic.
