Asset Information Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an Asset Information Manager to lead the strategic management and optimisation of assets for a major rail station construction project. The role ensures that asset data, lifecycle planning and performance monitoring are fully integrated with program management systems and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive asset strategy aligned with project goals, covering lifecycle planning, maintenance and operational efficiency.
• Create and keep an accurate inventory of physical and digital assets, including infrastructure, systems and equipment.
• Plan asset acquisition, utilisation, maintenance and decommissioning to maximise value and control costs.
• Collaborate with designers, contractors, operators and integrators to align asset management with project and operational needs.
• Collect, analyse and report asset data to support performance monitoring and decision‑making.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to asset reliability, performance and obsolescence.
• Define KPIs, track metrics and provide regular performance reports to project leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and environmental standards specific to rail infrastructure.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance contracts and service agreements.
• Facilitate change management during asset upgrades or installations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in asset management within large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of rail or similar transportation infrastructure.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across design, construction and operations.
• Experience in risk identification and mitigation for asset performance.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards applicable to rail assets.
