Application Architect – SAP BTP & Cloud Solutions

About the role

The Application Architect will design and deliver enterprise‑grade applications that automate business processes and meet evolving business needs. Working primarily with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and related cloud services, you will create solutions that run across multiple platforms and integrate custom components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support applications in SAP Portal, SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, SAP Mobile Platform, and SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services.
• Define best practices for component selection, development methods, processes, tools, and architecture standards.
• Administer and optimise SAP BTP landscapes, including Cloud Foundry, sub‑accounts, spaces, entitlements, certificates, destinations and connectivity services.
• Monitor system availability, performance and usage of BTP services such as Integration Suite, Workflow, Launchpad and Kyma.
• Support SAP HANA environments – security model design, SLT configuration, BW on HANA migration, system monitoring and upgrades.
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure application usability, scalability, performance and data integrity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SAP BTP cloud development and administration.
• Strong background in SAP UI5/Fiori, SAP ABAP OData services and SAP Enterprise Portal.
• Hands‑on experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Java, jQuery and XML.
• Ability to build custom Fiori and CAPM applications from scratch using SAP BAS, SAP Web IDE or Eclipse.
• Experience with GIT version control and SAP HANA system management.
