AP & AR Coordinator – Accounting Operations

About the role

Nations Creations is looking for an organized AP & AR Coordinator to manage day‑to‑day accounting activities. The role supports both payable and receivable functions while assisting with general bookkeeping tasks to keep the finance team running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, code, and enter supplier invoices; match them to purchase orders.
• Prepare and process vendor payments and maintain vendor records.
• Issue customer invoices, apply payments, and monitor outstanding balances.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and support collection efforts.
• Create, track, and approve purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation.
• Assist with bank and credit‑card reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end close.
• Enter data, reconcile accounts, and prepare routine financial reports.
• Support the Controller with ad‑hoc accounting and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related accounting roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Commitment to the values and guidelines of Sq'éwqel (Seabird Island Band).

Required skills

• Understanding of full‑cycle AP and AR processes.
• Experience with invoice processing and purchase‑order administration.
• Ability to perform reconciliations and basic journal entries.
