AI-Powered Application Lead – Senior Manager

About the role

Accenture is seeking an AI‑Powered Application Lead to head high‑performing development teams that deliver large‑scale, custom web applications. The role blends hands‑on engineering with strategic leadership, focusing on AI‑native development practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end solution delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Accenture standards.
• Translate business and system requirements into detailed technical specifications and guide teams in using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor.
• Architect and oversee full‑stack applications, including front‑end (React, Angular) and back‑end (Java.NET/C#) components.
• Champion AI‑native development practices and embed them across teams to boost productivity.
• Design and implement APIs, integrations, and distributed systems, and drive cloud‑native solution design (GCP preferred, with AWS/Azure exposure).
• Oversee DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and observability.
• Mentor developers, build AI‑first engineering capabilities, and advise clients on AI adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large development teams and delivering enterprise‑grade web applications.
• Strong ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence technical direction.
• Deep understanding of AI‑assisted coding tools and their integration into development workflows.
