Administrative Assistant – Service & Parts Support

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to support its service and parts department at the Brampton office. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, handling communications, and ensuring smooth workflow for repairs and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily repair and delivery records.
• Handle inbound calls for internal and external service requests.
• Review expense reports from mechanics and approve as needed.
• Track open service work orders and ensure all costs are accounted for.
• Maintain real‑time status updates for shop activities.
• Manage receipts, stockroom withdrawals, and inventory for telematics equipment.
• Prepare customer invoices and process deductions.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing deliveries for accuracy and damage.
• Order and track truck and trailer parts, scheduling installations.
• Enter order information accurately into the computerized service ordering system.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a shop, service, or parts environment.
• Knowledge of truck parts and services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast‑paced, loud environment.
• High level of confidentiality.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with computerized service ordering systems.
