Account Manager

About the role

LG2 is seeking an Account Manager to join its Account Services team in Toronto. The role serves as the day‑to‑day liaison between clients and internal creative, production, and media teams, ensuring projects move smoothly from brief to launch while staying on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of branding, creative, and design projects, guaranteeing deliverables meet agency standards.
• Act as the primary operational contact for clients, responding promptly and building trusted relationships.
• Coordinate with creative, production, media, and internal teams to maintain clear timelines and accurate asset flow.
• Develop and monitor detailed work‑back schedules to keep all milestones on track.
• Oversee project financials, including estimates, budgeting, billing, and docket management.
• Write strategic project briefs under senior leadership guidance to inspire creative work.
• Conduct quality reviews of deliverables before client presentation and stay informed on category‑specific advertising regulations.
• Prepare meeting reports, provide status updates, and proactively flag risks or workload concerns.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects accurately, on time, and within budget.
• Excellent business writing and confident presentation skills for both clients and internal teams.
• Strong relationship‑building capability across departments, acting as the first line of daily communication.
• Highly organized, resourceful, and able to prioritize under pressure with a sense of urgency.
• Keen interest in understanding clients' brands, business goals, and competitive landscapes.
• Comfortable managing day‑to‑day account financials, scope estimations, and budget tracking.
• Ability to “manage up,” stay calm under pressure, and seek guidance when needed.
