Advancement Coordinator – Fundraising Operations

About the role

WCS Canada is seeking an enthusiastic Advancement Coordinator to support its fundraising team. You will play a pivotal behind‑the‑scenes role, ensuring donor data is accurate and administrative processes run smoothly, helping the organization protect wildlife across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update donor information in the database with high accuracy.
• Support donor journey activities, including acknowledgments and stewardship communications.
• Assist the Advancement team with scheduling, expense tracking, and other operational tasks.
• Provide administrative support for fundraising events and campaigns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with the five‑year fundraising strategy.

Required profile

• Highly organized and proactive with strong judgment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time‑management abilities.
• Passion for wildlife and nature conservation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, motivated team.
