About the role

The Faculty of Education at McGill University seeks an Academic Associate to advance graduate student initiatives, partnership programs, and academic quality. This contract position supports key projects such as Loop Lab, CoLab, and accreditation activities, fostering collaboration across the university and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Loop Lab activities, including graduate‑student mentorship, public‑facing workshops, and community‑engaged learning opportunities.
• Manage CoLab governance, steering committee documentation, partnership engagement, events, and knowledge‑mobilization materials.
• Support accreditation and academic quality processes: timeline tracking, evidence collection, documentation, reporting readiness, and continuity planning.
• Facilitate communication, evaluation, and documentation for all initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Education or a closely related field.
• Highly organized with strong coordination and project‑management abilities.
• Intellectually engaged and collaborative, able to work with graduate students, faculty, and external partners.
• Experience in academic quality assurance or accreditation processes is an asset.
