Telemarketing Specialist

About the role

Aviat Networks, a global leader in wireless transmission systems, is seeking a Telemarketing Specialist to drive new lead generation for its North American market. This is a home‑based contract position that blends telephone outreach, email, and social‑media engagement to fill the sales funnel with qualified prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new leads via telephone, email, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator outreach.
• Qualify inbound leads against predefined criteria and schedule appointments for sales managers.
• Target key accounts, identify decision‑makers, and create sales opportunities.
• Support marketing events such as webinars, roadshows, and trade shows across North America.
• Provide weekly lead‑generation results to management and adapt tactics as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in inside sales, lead generation, or telemarketing (preferred).
• Recent university graduate with strong motivation to build a high‑tech sales career is acceptable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently from a home office while collaborating with the sales team.
• High school diploma required; BSc/BA is a plus.
• Knowledge of microwave radios or wireless network technology is advantageous.
