Softgoods Associate – Full-Time Retail Role

About the role

Giant Tiger is seeking a Softgoods Associate to join its Berthierville store team. In this full-time position you will deliver excellent customer service while handling checkout operations and maintaining merchandise presentation. The role combines front-line sales duties with inventory and loss-prevention responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and assist shoppers with product inquiries.
• Accurately process transactions using electronic cash registers, mainline and self-checkout systems.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area and maintain planograms, labels and signage.
• Perform cycle counts, markdowns, SKU changes and follow up on hot-selling items.
• Ensure compliance with tobacco, lottery, health-and-safety and loss-prevention policies.
