About the role

The role involves installing and servicing exterior and interior prefabricated signs and awnings for commercial clients. Work is performed outdoors, often at heights, across various construction sites in Calgary and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Install exterior prefabricated signs and awnings.
• Install interior prefabricated signs.
• Repair and service exterior and interior sign products.
• Measure, mark guidelines and determine layout for installations.
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Required profile

• Punctual, accurate and dependable.
• Client‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Physically capable of handling loads over 45 kg and working at heights.
• Organized, flexible and a team player.

Required skills

• Operation of hand and power tools.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Erecting scaffolding and other work platforms.
• Aerial lift and aerial work platform certification.
• WHMIS and fall arrest safety training.
