Service HVAC Technician – Commercial & Residential

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Service HVAC Technician to join our Service Division, handling both commercial and high‑end residential projects. You will work independently, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of HVAC equipment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
• Perform routine maintenance and system tune‑ups to ensure efficiency.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide clear explanations to customers.
• Assist teammates on service calls and collaborate with dispatchers.
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts used.
• Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Follow all safety protocols on job sites.

Required profile

• Journeyperson certification.
• 8‑10 years of residential HVAC service experience; commercial experience is a plus.
• Tech‑savvy with iPad usage; experience with Service Titan is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Experience with retro‑fits is an asset.
• Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean record.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality work.

Required skills

• HVAC system repair (furnace, AC, heat pump, ventilation).
• Routine maintenance and system tune‑up.
• Advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• iPad operation for field documentation.
• Service Titan or similar field service software.
• Retro‑fit installation experience.
