SEO Specialist

About the role

Vivid Theory is seeking an SEO Specialist to lead our search engine optimisation and paid search efforts for a world‑class vehicle listing platform. Based in Calgary, you will work closely with development, editorial and marketing teams to boost organic visibility and maximise ROI on SEM campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute SEO strategies, including keyword research, on‑page optimisation and link‑building initiatives.
• Manage SEM campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing, monitoring budgets, performance and ROI.
• Analyse website analytics and PPC data to identify trends, optimise spend and report results.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in new code.
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to integrate SEO recommendations into content creation.
• Conduct competitor link analysis and recommend architectural changes to improve rankings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in both SEO and SEM, managing PPC campaigns on major search networks.
• Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimisation and online customer acquisition.
• Experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, MOZ or WebTrends.
• Ability to work collaboratively, stay motivated and continuously learn new techniques.
