Seasonal Customer Experience Representative

About the role

You’ll help cultivate an environment that promotes authentic employee and customer experiences, guided by Indigo’s culture and mission of adding joy. You will model Indigo’s beliefs, inspire customers through storytelling, and connect them to the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming environment in the store.
• Add joy to customers' lives through personal interactions.
• Leverage product knowledge to tell compelling stories.
• Engage and connect with customers on the sales floor.
• Curate specific product collections tailored to each customer.
• Promote Indigo’s rewards program.
• Ensure visual standards are followed and maintained.
• Role‑model Indigo’s guiding principles.
• Seek information on new products, promotions, and programs.
• Contribute to a health‑and‑safety‑first environment.
• Respond to customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Hold self and others accountable for performance.
• Own self‑development and provide continuous feedback.
• Share ideas with leadership to improve employee and customer experience.

Required profile

• Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment (preferred but not required).
• Adaptability, flexibility and willingness to learn all aspects of the store.
• Demonstrated commitment to creating an exceptional employee and customer experience.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
• Ability to lift medium to large items up to 40 lb using proper equipment and safety techniques.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnights and early mornings.
• Bilingualism (French/English) required for Québec positions; other languages are an asset.
