Room Attendant (Housekeeping)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Room Attendant to join Germain Hotels’ housekeeping team. The successful candidate will ensure each guest room meets the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards of presentation and hygiene.
• Maintain inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Coordinate with housekeeping supervisors, front‑desk staff and maintenance to address guest requests promptly.
• Report any maintenance issues or irregularities observed during cleaning.
• Adhere to safety and privacy protocols while handling guest belongings.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, room attendant or a similar role is an advantage.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, discretion and respect for guest privacy.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as part of a team.
