About the role
Hotel Arts is looking for an energetic Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest experiences in Calgary. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring their stay is pleasant, comfortable, and memorable.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, handle check‑in and check‑out procedures, and manage telephone inquiries.
- Review reservations for accuracy, set up rates and account folios, and maintain a balanced cash float.
- Communicate guest requests and special needs to relevant departments promptly.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and directions.
- Assist with luggage handling and take reservations as needed.
Required profile
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
- 1‑2+ years of experience in front office operations, housekeeping, or rooms division.
- Positive, professional attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Legal permission to work in Canada.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Opera or other Property Management Systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
