Remote Tax Consultant (EA/CPA) – $55-$75/hr

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant (EA/CPA) to work remotely on a contract basis for a global financial services leader. You will apply your deep knowledge of U.S. tax statutes to interpret, analyze, and improve the accuracy of complex tax documentation and its English translations.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze U.S. federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language, conditions, thresholds, logic, and legal exceptions.
• Review and evaluate English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy, clarity, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI, highlighting inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps.
• Apply logical reasoning to identify and resolve documentation issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent and compliant tax interpretations.

Required profile

• Certified EA or CPA with proven experience in U.S. tax law.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
• Excellent written communication skills for detailed feedback.
• High attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
