Project Manager - Real Estate

About the role

The Bank is seeking a Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of workplace premises projects in Toronto. You will oversee renovations, expansions, relocations, new site openings, and special moves, ensuring they align with business needs and Bank standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement design and construction strategies that deliver value and meet annual program goals.
• Manage multiple real‑estate projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery while adhering to Bank policies.
• Control project budgets, obtain approvals, and monitor financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Hire, coordinate, and supervise external architects, engineers, contractors, and furniture specialists.
• Lead the RFP and tender processes, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms.
• Oversee procurement, quality control, and installation of furniture, equipment, and services.
• Prepare budgets, schedules, conduct site inspections, manage change orders, and handle contract administration.
• Provide regular status updates, issue forecasts, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience managing construction and interior‑design projects.
• Strong knowledge of design, construction, and real‑estate industry practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage external consultants and negotiate contracts effectively.
