Program Specialist – M&A Recruiting

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Program Specialist to lead the recruiting side of its M&A activities. You will coordinate the interview experience for acquisition hires, acting as the central liaison between Corporate Development, Legal, People, and technical teams. The role is critical to ensuring smooth, confidential, and high‑touch hiring for high‑stakes acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Program‑manage recruiting activities across Corporate Development, Legal, People, and technical leadership, keeping stakeholders informed and processes moving.
• Educate deal sponsors and cross‑functional partners on standard M&A recruiting approaches and interview processes.
• Operationalize playbooks and processes that keep acquisition hiring organized and consistent.
• Scope and run the recruiting workstream for each deal, from the first conversation through start dates.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, delivering a warm, discreet experience throughout the transition.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude as a core part of daily workflow to automate recruiting tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Take on additional high‑priority recruiting and operations projects as needed.

Required profile

• 4+ years of program management, recruiting coordination, or high‑volume scheduling experience, preferably with confidential or M&A/acquihire hiring.
• Proven track record of creating, documenting, and educating teams on evolving hiring approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver an excellent candidate experience and partner closely with recruiters.
• Experience handling confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
