Production Manager

About the role

North-Wright Airways is seeking a full‑time Production Manager to lead daily maintenance production activities at its Norman Wells base. You will ensure aircraft are serviced safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks and allocate work to maintenance teams.
• Monitor progress, adjust priorities and ensure operational requirements are met.
• Coordinate closely with flight operations, logistics and supply chain to minimise aircraft downtime and secure parts and resources.
• Support safety and quality initiatives, maintain accurate records and generate reports.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement of maintenance and operational processes.

Required profile

• Strong background in aviation maintenance or production management.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities with a safety‑first mindset.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, able to prioritise and adapt to changing needs.
• Comfortable working in a northern, remote environment and on‑site in Norman Wells.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations, safety management systems and quality standards is an asset.
• Relevant post‑secondary education, trade certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with maintenance/operations software, reporting tools and standard office applications.
