Admixture Operator – Day Shift

About the role

The Admixture Operator works on the day shift to produce and batch Sika's liquid admixture products. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role ensures safe, efficient plant operations while meeting quality and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Produce liquid admixture products following Sika formulas and procedures.
• Batch materials, operate mixers, and maintain accurate production records.
• Wash and load tanker trucks for bulk shipments and complete trip sheet documentation.
• Label and prepare pails, drums, or totes for non‑bulk orders.
• Test product samples for quality control, enter results into SAP, and report non‑conformances.
• Perform equipment calibrations and operate forklifts and other plant equipment safely.
• Create and close process orders, assist in production planning, and order raw materials.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and test wastewater pH levels.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, including waste disposal and cleaning between product runs.
• Support the Group Leader or Production Supervisor as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably with construction materials.
• Computer literacy; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an asset.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) is an asset.
• Forklift certification is an asset (training provided).
• Strong communication skills.
