About the role
The Pharmacy Director will lead pharmacy services across Brant Community Healthcare System’s two hospital sites, ensuring safe, high‑quality medication management for patients. This senior position reports to senior hospital leadership and works closely with interdisciplinary teams to advance the system’s strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all pharmacy departments.
- Ensure compliance with provincial regulations, accreditation standards, and best practice guidelines.
- Lead initiatives that improve medication safety, patient outcomes, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to integrate pharmacy services into patient care pathways.
- Mentor, develop, and manage pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Drive quality improvement projects aligned with the organization’s core values of boldness, excellence, equity, and trustworthiness.
