Pharmacy Assistant – Kroll Data Entry

About the role

CareRx is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support medication preparation, packaging, and delivery for long‑term care homes and retirement communities. The role focuses on using eMAR and Kroll pharmacy software to ensure accurate prescription processing and timely distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and fill prescriptions using eMAR and Kroll software, including refills and third‑party adjudications.
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain inventory, handling returns of expired products.
• Prepare and deliver prescriptions and labels to care facilities and retirement homes on schedule.
• Manage supplies and perform related administrative duties.
• Respond to inquiries from nurses and healthcare providers, directing calls as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, confidentiality, and a clean pharmacy environment.
• Assist with pharmacy operations, including operating automated machines and compounding under pharmacist supervision.

Required profile

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program (preferred but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow pharmacy standards of practice.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with healthcare staff.
