Part-Time Meat Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Part‑Time Meat Clerk to join our Toronto store. You will help keep the meat department fresh, well‑stocked and welcoming for customers while following strict food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and unload meat deliveries, storing products properly.
• Stock shelves, coolers and displays with a variety of meat items.
• Rotate stock to maintain freshness and inspect products for quality.
• Monitor cooler and display temperatures and follow food‑safety guidelines.
• Reduce prices on items nearing expiry and ensure accurate labeling.
• Assist customers in locating meat products and provide recommendations.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas, equipment and tools.
• Perform inventory counts, restock as needed and report discrepancies.
• Update promotional signage and verify price accuracy.
• Use equipment safely and report any safety concerns.

• Friendly, energetic and enjoys interacting with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail for product quality and price accuracy.

What we offer
