Non‑Sterile Machine Operator – Weekend Night Shift

About the role

The Non‑Sterile Machine Operator works the weekend night shift (Friday‑Sunday, 7:00 pm‑7:30 am) in Cambridge, ON. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role ensures that non‑sterile products are packaged in compliance with cGMP and SOPs while meeting quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment, labeling and cartooning machines, and pallet lifts to keep the line running smoothly.
• Load syringes, assemble cartons, seal cases, and move finished pallets to the receiving area.
• Inspect filled bottles and syringes, document defects, and calculate rejection percentages.
• Pull and measure sample volumes, record results, and verify fill specifications.
• Complete GMP documentation accurately, report incidents, and follow safety protocols.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years experience in a GMP pharmaceutical packaging or manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math ability and good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lb regularly and up to 30 lb occasionally.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
