Junior Digital Strategist

About the role

Search + Gather is looking for a Junior Digital Strategist to join its fast‑growing digital marketing team. You will work remotely with occasional collaboration days at our downtown Toronto office, helping clients across startups to enterprise businesses improve their paid and organic online performance.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and optimize campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Amazon, and Google Ads platforms.
• Analyze performance data in Google Analytics and generate regular reports for clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, discussing results, new ideas, and next steps.
• Perform SEO tasks such as keyword research, on‑page optimization, content creation, and link‑building to boost organic traffic.
• Extract and synthesize data from CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Collaborate with Digital Designers to create ad creatives and landing pages.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in SEM/PPC and digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of paid search, social advertising, tracking, reporting, and client communication.
• Comfortable working in a scale‑up environment and eager to take on new challenges.
• Based in or able to work from the Toronto area (remote‑first).
