Fraud Analyst – Data & Risk

About the role

PC Financial is seeking a Fraud Analyst to join its risk team in Toronto. The role focuses on reviewing fraud cases, performing analysis, and implementing strategies to monitor high‑risk behaviours across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the portfolio and credit‑risk strategies to optimise risk and reward.
• Recommend improvements and quantify benefits in partnership with the Senior Manager.
• Update and validate changes to fraud detection systems.
• Develop, maintain and produce scheduled inventories of financial, operational and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve fraud‑prevention objectives.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and personal accountability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication of complex problems.
• Ability to prioritise and work independently.
• Post‑secondary degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).
• Minimum 1 year experience in fraud detection, data analysis, financial modelling or data mining.
