About the role
PC Financial is seeking a Fraud Analyst to join its risk team in Toronto. The role focuses on reviewing fraud cases, performing analysis, and implementing strategies to monitor high‑risk behaviours across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze the portfolio and credit‑risk strategies to optimise risk and reward.
- Recommend improvements and quantify benefits in partnership with the Senior Manager.
- Update and validate changes to fraud detection systems.
- Develop, maintain and produce scheduled inventories of financial, operational and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve fraud‑prevention objectives.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and personal accountability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication of complex problems.
- Ability to prioritise and work independently.
- Post‑secondary degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).
- Minimum 1 year experience in fraud detection, data analysis, financial modelling or data mining.

- SAS
- SQL
- Oracle
- SecureCode (experience with systems/change management is an asset)
- TSYS (experience with systems/change management is an asset)
