District Relief Pharmacist – GTA Ontario (Full‑Time)

About the role

This full‑time District Relief Pharmacist position supports multiple Metro pharmacy locations across the Greater Toronto Area. You will provide direct patient care, supervise the dispensary and front‑shop operations, and ensure consistent, high‑quality pharmacy services while traveling between sites.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications, counsel patients and deliver pharmacy services in accordance with the expanded scope of practice.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians, assistants and clerks, especially in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Open and close each pharmacy according to scheduled hours and maintain compliance with recall procedures and shrink‑control policies.
• Collaborate with other health‑care professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Address emergency staffing needs and assist with dispensary paperwork as directed.
• Maintain store standards, manage inventory, and ensure profitability while adhering to company and OCP standards.

Required profile

• B.Sc. Pharmacy degree from a recognized 4‑year university program.
• Registered Part A Pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Injection certification and Smoking Cessation certification.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to travel across the GTA and work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Kroll pharmacy software.
• Competence in PC systems and Microsoft Office applications.
