About the role

Join the Outback family as a Dishwasher and help deliver an AUS‑SOME dining experience. This hourly, non‑exempt position offers a fast‑paced kitchen environment where you will keep the dishwashing area organized and support overall restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth kitchen operations by keeping dishwashing stations clean and organized.
• Operate the dish machine, manage chemicals, and follow proper water‑change procedures.
• Restock the kitchen and cooking line as needed throughout the shift.
• Perform routine cleaning of the kitchen, floors, and general areas.
• Ensure plates, glassware, and smallware are properly washed, sanitized, and stored.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Assist other restaurant areas when business needs arise.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of back‑of‑house experience in a full‑service restaurant (preferred).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 lb and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Comfortable working in hot and cold environments and performing frequent bending, reaching, and kneeling.
• Strong visual ability for distance, color, and depth perception.
