Restaurant Manager – Vernon

About the role

A&W Restaurants in Vernon, BC is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and drive profitability. You will be responsible for delivering a consistent guest experience while maintaining A&W standards and a motivated team.

Key responsibilities

• Balance food quality, speed of service, guest experience and cost control through effective oversight of operating systems.
• Oversee weekly P&L performance, managing cost of goods, labour costs and operating expenses.
• Maintain A&W operational standards, conduct performance reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC, public health and provincial employment regulations.
• Develop and manage staff scheduling to meet labour targets and support smooth operations.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to keep facilities in proper working condition.
• Recruit, hire, coach and, when necessary, terminate hourly and supervisory staff.
• Complete daily, weekly and period‑end accounting tasks, manage inventory ordering and control.

Required profile

• Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and food‑service regulations.
