About the role
As a Department Manager at H&M, you will lead and inspire a store team, fostering an inclusive culture that drives collaboration and an entrepreneurial spirit. You will ensure an excellent operational and visual experience for customers, colleagues, and the brand.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the total omni‑channel customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial standards align with global guidelines.
- Analyze sales and budget data, set targets, and develop plans to optimise results and profitability.
- Promote the Hello Member loyalty app and in‑store sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain cost‑efficient department operations, including fitting‑room and checkout routines.
- Stay up‑to‑date with fashion trends, competitors and influencers, and share product knowledge with the team.
- Recruit, onboard, evaluate performance, upskill and develop team members, and manage scheduling.
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser team to ensure high‑quality product presentation and stock levels.
Required profile
- Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
- Ability to analyse sales performance and create actionable plans.
- Good understanding of fashion trends and retail visual standards.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Attention to operational detail and compliance with store procedures.
