Data Entry Clerk – Buying Department (Maternity Leave Replacement)

About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our Buying Department on a full‑time, maternity‑leave replacement basis. You will support product information management and purchasing operations, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.
Key responsibilities
- Enter new product data and generate SKUs in the inventory system.
- Maintain and update existing product details, pricing, and discontinued items.
- Input product information and images in both French and English for the Content Department.
- Ensure product updates appear correctly on the website, store sell sheets, and signage.
- Create, enter, and track purchase orders for new and replenishment stock.
- Coordinate with stores and suppliers to confirm orders and resolve inquiries.
- Prepare advertised products, organize samples for photo shoots, and support supplier photography.
- Generate reports for the Product Manager and prepare store advisements for upcoming promotions.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
- Team player capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
- Retail sales or housewares product knowledge is a plus.
