Construction Labourer – Foundation & Shoring

About the role

Hall Shoring & Foundations is seeking dedicated Labourers to support foundation drilling and shoring projects across Edmonton. You will work on‑site, assisting with concrete handling, equipment spotting, and general site organization while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Shovel drilling spoils and concrete, and chip concrete as needed.
• Operate pressure washers to clean finished piles.
• Use a bandsaw to trim centre bars.
• Perform basic math calculations and take measurements with a tape.
• Assist with spotting equipment for concrete trucks and crane singles.
• Maintain housekeeping and equipment spotting around foundation drilling rigs.
• Work 10‑12 hour shifts when required.

Required profile

• Pass pre‑access alcohol and drug testing.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in piling or foundation drilling.
• Strong safety attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.

Required skills

• Operate a pressure washer.
• Use a bandsaw safely.
• Apply safe work procedures and identify site hazards.
• Understand hand signals for spotting concrete trucks and crane singles.
• Perform basic math and measurement tasks.
