Construction Inspector – Ensure Safety & Code Compliance

About the role

The Construction Inspector will ensure that all building and engineering works on site meet the approved plans, specifications and applicable codes. You will play a key part in maintaining safe working conditions and supporting the company’s commitment to environmentally responsible construction.

Key responsibilities

• Examine plans, drawings and site layouts to verify design intent and compliance.
• Inspect construction activities to confirm adherence to drawings, specifications and building codes.
• Monitor work sites for safe conditions and report any hazards.
• Document inspection findings and communicate corrective actions to the crew.
• Support green‑building initiatives by ensuring environmentally‑friendly practices are followed.

Required profile

• Accurate and detail‑oriented.
• Excellent oral communication skills in English or French.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a dusty work environment.
• Experience in construction inspection is an asset.
• Willingness to work early‑morning or day shifts as required.
